My Comments...

"Low light images with supplemental lighting such as candles, sparklers and lamps have to be exposed properly show these light sources as well as the subjects. For this image, I set the camera exposure to be sufficiently long enough to capture the light from the sparklers, and fired a small amount of flash onto the couple to expose their faces while maintaining the appearance that their faces are lit by the sparklers. It's simply a balancing act."
