My Comments...

"It has been fun watching this young boy grow up through the years - I have photographed him for years now. I can't reiterate enough how special it is to watch the kids interact with Santa each year. This young boy is always very serious. To offset this for my Santa portraits, I always capture at least two poses - one with the child and Santa looking at the camera and hopefully smiling, and the other with the child looking at Santa. Although parents often want photographs of their child looking at the camera and smiling, I have always love the photographs where the child is interacting with Santa. When I'm having a hard time getting the child to talk to Santa, I usually tell them to look at Santa's hat. This not only gets the ball rolling, but also gets me the photograph where it appears that the child is looking at and talking to Santa."
