"After my wife Teresa asked me to create a sports portrait that she could hang on the walls of our home, I decided to create a locker room scene. For the set, I used a bench and added a jersey, baseball bat, helmet, and glove and lit the scene to simulate a locker room. I dressed Matthew in his baseball pants and sleeves, and asked him to act as if he were putting on his cleats."
